American Bird Conservancy (ABC) endeavors to keep personal information gathered through its membership and project donation facilities, action campaigns, eNewsletter, and on-line store safe and confidential. ABC does not disclose credit card information or telephone contact information to third parties. ABC or its representatives will only contact store customers or donors by phone if there is a problem with a store order or donation.

ABC does not sell, exchange, or divulge email contact information gathered through the ABC on-line store, membership and project donation processes, eNewsletter (BirdWire) subscription, or action campaigns. From time to time ABC may contact members or store customers by mail or email to alert them to special conservation issues, bird conservation news, store promotions, and donation requests. Individuals may elect to stop receiving these at any time by unsubscribing from BirdWire and requesting that they receive no postal mail.

ABC sometimes exchanges the postal mailing addresses of its members. All new members are given the opportunity to opt out of this exchange list at the time they join. Members may also opt out of the exchange list at any time subsequently through various member mailings, or by contacting
