ABC aspires to be the gold standard among
conservation organizations. To that end:
We aim high. We overcome the enormous
challenges facing birds with passion, ambition, and an entrepreneurial
spirit; the courage to take on tough opponents and sometimes
unpopular issues; a quick response capability; a predisposition
toward partnerships with people and organizations of all kinds;
a knack for innovation; and attention toward efficient use
of resources.
We demand the highest ethical standards
in all we do. Trust in ABC is based on our unblemished
record of board and staff integrity, absolute honesty, and
financial accountability.
We define success in terms of measurable
conservation change. ABC is only as valuable as its conservation
results, so we plan our actions to accomplish the changes
we need. ABC projects begin with goals, a schedule, and ways
to measure the effects of our actions over time.
Supporters deserve and receive our
best effort, personal attention, and always the unvarnished
truth. ABC is motivated by the enthusiasm of our supporters.
we show our appreciation with dedication to improving conditions
for birds. regular, honest reporting is the foundation of
abc relations with supporters. we enjoy reporting good news,
but will not hesitate to report the setbacks.
